Abstract:
To obtain an acrylic acid derivative compound which is a crosslinkable liquid crystal monomer having a high anisotropy of refractive index and a polymeric liquid crystal prepared by polymerizing the acrylic acid derivative compound and to provide uses thereof.
This acrylic acid derivative compound is represented by formula 1 (wherein R1 and R2 are each hydrogen atom or methyl group; and E1 and E2 are each 1,4-phenylene group which may be substituted with fluorine atom, chlorine atom or methyl group).
