Title:
ADDING METHOD OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ADDITIVES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS54110823
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve solubility to oil soluble photographic additives such as couplers, ultraviolet absorbers, color contamination preventing agents, etc. and enable the additives to be stably dispersed in silver halide photosensitive material by using a specific high boiling point organic solvent.

CONSTITUTION: After substantially water insoluble photographic additives are dissolved in the compound of a melting point below 120°C of the formula (R is alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, heterocyclic groups; R1 thru R3 are H, halogen, alkyl, alkylthio, alkoxy, aryl, aryloxy, arylthio, acyl, (di)acylamino, acyloxy, sulfonamide, alkylamino, cycloalkyl, alkoxy carbonyl; Z is atom groups necessary for forming cumarone ring groups or cumaran ring groups; further R, R1 may be mutually cyclized to form cumarone or cumaran rings), the solution is added and dispersed in a hydrophilic colloidal solution for forming the structural layer of silver halide photosensitive material.
