Abstract:
To provide an additive feeder and a web forming apparatus capable of preventing an additive from being scattered into the atmosphere when opening and closing an intake port.SOLUTION: There is provided an additive feeder includes an additive storage tool having a discharge port and comprising a container for storing an additive to be added to a defibrated product, a first shutter member for opening and closing the discharge port by moving along a first axis, and an apparatus body having an intake port for taking in the additive, and in which the additive storage tool is an additive feeder attachable to and detachable from the apparatus body. The additive feeder comprises a second shutter member having an engagement part to be engaged with the first shutter member and for opening and closing the intake port by moving along the first axis. The first shutter member is interlocked with the second shutter member when the second shutter member is moved along the first axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
