Abstract:
To provide an advanced double core tube sampler capable of increasing the excavating rate of a core ring to enable an efficient core ring by solving problems in a conventional double core tube sampler.
This advance double core tube sampler 10 comprises a bit 12 having a large number of projected parts 16 disposed at the tip of a cylindrical body 14. Each projected part is formed by mixing an industrial diamond powder with a matrix and sintering the mixture. Each projected part is selected to be a rectangular shape with a ratio of peripheral dimension to diameter side dimension of 1 or less or the other any shape inscribing the rectangular shape in plan view.
