PURPOSE: To obtain a plastic aerosol container excellent in heat resistance, water resistance and environmental stress cracking resistance by using a high nitrile resin having a specific composition.
CONSTITUTION: For an aerosol container, a polymer obtained by graft polymerizing 60-90 pts.wt of a monomer mixture consisting of at least 60wt.% of an unsaturated nitrile compound and at least 5wt.% or more of an aromatic vinyl compound to 1-40 pts.wt. of diene synthetic rubber containing 50wt.% or more of a conjugated diene monomer is used. When the content of the unsaturated nitrile compound in the resin grafted to the rubber in this polymer is set to X wt.% and the content of the unsaturated nitrile compound in the matrix resin is set to Y wt.%, the relation of 60<X≤Y<90 is provided between X and Y. This aerosol container is excellent in heat resistance, water resistance and environmental stress cracking resistance.
