PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition having decreased ignition hazard in use and capable of protecting the ozonosphere by filling a fiber-treating agent containing a specific component, a lower alkanol, a specific propellant and an incombustible compressed gas in a container.
CONSTITUTION: An aerosol fiber-treating agent having decreased ignition hazard in use and free from back-fire phenomenon is produced by filling a container with (A) 0.1-5wt.% (in terms of effective component) of a fiber treating agent selected from a water and oil repellent (e.g. fluororesin), a fiber-smoothing agent (e.g. silicone oil), an antistatic agent (e.g. imidazolinium-type quaternary ammonium salt), a flattening agent (e.g. amino-modified silicone), a deodorant (preferably natural flavonoid, etc.), a darkening agent, a sterilizing agent (e.g. benzalkonium chloride) and an ultraviolet absorber (e.g. benzophenone compound), (B) 40-80wt.% of a 1-4C lower alkanol (preferably ethanol, etc.), (C) 20-56wt.% of 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane as an incombustible propellant and (D) 0.1-3wt.% of an incombustible compressed gas (e.g. CO2).
