Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly develop a resin within a wide temp. range from an extremely low temp. to a high temp. without generating a problem of stickiness by adding a siloxane component of a polysiloxane segment in a resin in a specific ratio.
SOLUTION: The content of a siloxane component of a polysiloxane segment in a resin compsn. is set to 5-40 wt.%. Polysiloxane is pref. active hydrogen- containing polysiloxane represented by formula (wherein R1a-R1g are each respectively independently a 1-8C alkyl group or an aryl group; R2a-R2c are each respectively independently an active hydrogen-containing substituent, a 1-8c alkyl group or an aryl group and at least one of R2a-R2c is an active hydrogen- containing substituent; m is an integer of 0-2 and n is an integer of 5-200. For example, an air bag is produced by molding a silicone modified thermoplastic polyurethane resin or a compd. obtained by compounding other resin or an additive with such resin by a T-die extrusion method.
