Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag pad that can be easily manufactured while ensuring high ornamental effect without causing weight increase.
SOLUTION: An air bag pad 1 has an ornament 10 arranged on the surface of a pad body 2, made of synthetic resin, so as to cover a folded air bag. The ornament 10 is formed in sheet shape having a connecting layer 13, connectable to the pad body 2, on the back face side. The pad body 2 is insert-formed with the ornament 10 as an insert. At the time of forming the pad body 2, the connecting layer 13 is connected to the pad body 2.
