Abstract:
To improve an expanding property of an air bag, and to reduce a manufacturing cost for the air bag.
An air bag 1 forms a first partitioned chamber 31 by superimposing three panels 21, 22, 23. The lower panel 21 and the middle panel 22 are sewn at a first sewn part 51, and the first partitioned chamber 31 is widely and flatly expanded. On an inflator 12 side of the first sewn part 51, a second sewn part 54 which can break is provided. By breaking the second sewn part 54, an impact of gas of high temperature and high pressure injected from the inflator 12 is absorbed. The panels 21, 22 and the first sewn part 51 need not be strictly reinforced, which can reduce a manufacturing cost.
