Abstract:
To provide an air bag designed so as to reduce irregularity made on the surface of a bag body when the bag body is expanded.SOLUTION: An air bag 10 includes: a bag body 11 having a pair of woven fabrics 12, 13 formed by double ply; and a tether 40. The tether 40 includes a first tether yarn 41 capable of being hung on both of a first anchor yarn 51 and a second anchor yarn 52, and a second tether yarn 42 capable of being hung on both of a third anchor yarn 53 and a fourth anchor yarn 54. The first tether yarn 41 can be displaced along the extension direction of the first tether yarn 41 with respect to the first anchor yarn 51 and the second anchor yarn 52. The second tether yarn 42 can be displaced along the extension direction of the second tether yarn 42 with respect to the third anchor yarn 53 and the fourth anchor yarn 54. Further, a first extension part 61 of the first tether yarn 41 and a second extension part 64 of the second tether yarn 42 are disposed in a form of intersecting with each other when the bag body 11 is expanded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
