PURPOSE: To provide an air-cooled freezer in which a compressor device stored in a show case is made compact to increase an effective volume of the show case, a service space for the compressor is assured and at the same time a cooling performance of liquid injection is not decreased.
CONSTITUTION: A liquid receiving device 3 is stored in an outdoor air-cooled condensor device having a heat exchanger 8 and a blower 9, a compressor device 1 having a compressor 2 is stored in an indoor device 10, no accumulator is installed and then a liquid injection mechanism for cooling discharged gas temperature discharged out of the compressor 2 is operated to inject liquid into the compressor through a capillary tube 5 within the compressor device 1. Within the indoor device 10 are arranged the heat exchanger 11 for use in cooling operation, a solenoid valve 12 for closing flow of liquid and an expansion valve 13 at a refrigerant system.
