To provide an air-jet loom so designed that the jet force of compressed air to be fed for threading into a picking nozzle can be quickly and easily adjusted to proper jet force corresponding to the kind of weft to be threaded.

The air-jet loom includes a picking nozzle for making a picking utilizing air current, a first feed channel via which the picking nozzle is fed with compressed air for picking, and a second feed channel via which compressed air differing in pressure from the above compressed air is fed into the picking nozzle for threading weft into the picking nozzle. In this air-jet loom, the second feed channel is provided with a valve for opening/closing the channel, wherein the valve makes an opening action by a control signal from a manually operating device, which includes an operating switch for outputting the above control signal and a setter for setting the actuation time of the opening action for the valve. When the switch is operated, the above control signal is outputted to the valve for a time set by the setter.
