Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a care chair which can perform shifting of all of postures of lying, floor sitting, chair seating and standing, by one machine, with one button switch.SOLUTION: A user having walking difficulty who is unable to support his/her body in bending a knee joint shifts forward of a hip body weight gravity center by forward horizontal shifting while a backrest 1, an armrest 2, and a horizontal bending seat plate 22 are lifted. A portion having moved forward of the bending seat plate is bent and suspended and an area of the seat plate is reduced sequentially. Immediately before the area is dissipated due to lifting of the bending seat plate and suspension of the bending seat plate, the knee joint is extended to form an upright standing posture. Reversely, when a back in a standing posture is placed against the backrest, a chair seating posture, a floor sitting posture, and a lying posture are freely changed with only an intention of the user himself/herself to enhance a self recovery desire. The mechanism can be mounted on a care chair and an automobile seat as well as a body rotation device to contribute to ensure safety of a care giver and a care receiver and to eliminate mind/body fatigue.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1-1
