Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an all-solid lithium battery which has a structure suitable for enhancement of humidity resistance as well as capacity and energy density, and enables the significant suppression of battery characteristic degradation (especially, the decline in discharge capacity) owing to the repetition of charge/discharge.SOLUTION: An all-solid lithium battery comprises: a positive electrode plate composed of an oriented polycrystalline material in which lithium transition metal oxide particles are oriented; a solid electrolytic layer including a lithium ion-conducting material; a negative electrode layer; a metal positive electrode sheath material covering the positive electrode plate from outside; a metal negative electrode sheath material covering the negative electrode layer from outside; and a seal part including a sealing material for sealing exposed parts of the positive electrode plate, the solid electrolytic layer and the negative electrode layer which are not covered with the positive electrode sheath material or the negative electrode sheath material. The positive electrode plate has a thickness of 15-60 μm. The ratio of the positive electrode plate thickness tto negative electrode layer's thickness tis 1≤t/t≤15. The oriented polycrystalline material has an orientation degree of 10% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
