Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antisoiling agent for paper machine, consisting mainly of a positively found silicone oil which has high fixability onto paper machine rolls and the like and affords the rolls or the like with releasing/water-repelling tendency just after applied, and further, to provide a 2nd antifouling agent for paper machine consisting mainly of a silicone oil and causing less transfer of foreign matter from wet paper compared to the case with using an antifouling agent consisting mainly of a dimethylpolysiloxane-based oil.
SOLUTION: This antisoiling agent for feeding/applying to a paper machine consists mainly of a side chain-type or side chain both end-type modified silicone oil. Another version of the antifouling agent consists mainly of a side chain-type modified silicone oil where the side chains are substituted with amino or epoxy groups. The 2nd antifouling agent has better effects.
