Abstract:
PURPOSE: To smoothly carry out the wrapping of a woven cloth in exchanging cloth rolls without stopping the weaving.
CONSTITUTION: A full roll (4B) transferred from a woven cloth winding position (P1) on a loom to a full roll temporary storage position (P3) on a temporary storage cart 13 is prevented from rotating by meshing with a gear 43 in a fixed state. An empty roll supporting arm (16A) and a cutter supporting arm (17A) are supported by the temporary storage cart 13 and a cutter 19 is attached to the tip of the cutter supporting arm (17A). The empty roll (4A) is supported by a hand (16a) at the tip of the empty roll supporting arm (16A) and designed to rotate through the meshing of a driving worm (18a) with a worm wheel 54 by an empty roll rotating roll 18. A tension is applied to a woven cloth (W) between the full roll (4B) and the empty roll (4A) in an immovable state by the rotation of the empty roll (4A) to cut the woven cloth (W) between the full roll (4B) and the empty roll (4A) with the cutter 19.
