PURPOSE: To separate the unreelable thin-skin cocoon from chrysalis and prevent the long residence of the cocoon in the reeling bath before discharge, by placing a reeling water outlet ejecting the reeling water horizontally under the level of the reeling water and opening the outlet at the circumference of the reeling tank.
CONSTITUTION: The reeling water outlet 18 ejecting the reeling water parallel to the surface of the reeling water is placed under the surface of the reeling water and under the cocoons floating on the water in the reeling tank. The outlet 24 is opened at the circumference of the reeling tank 2 under the surface of the reeling water. The chrysalis sunk under the water is transferred by the flow of the reeling water toward the circumferential outlet of the reeling tank 1 while preventing the escape of the floating reelable cocoons.
