PURPOSE: The titled apparatus, having an air nozzle and an expelling duct for expelling defective articles, e.g. bad cocoons, in a gap between two endless belts provided oppositely at a suitable tilting angle and pressing tools for aligning cocoons, etc. before and after the gap, and capable of expelling the defective articles, e.g. bad cocoons.
CONSTITUTION: Two separate endless belts 2 and 3 are provided oppositely at a suitable tilting angle, and a gap 4 is provided between the endless belts 2 and 3, which are synchronously revolved. An air nozzle 8 for blowing compressed air therefrom for expelling defective articles, e.g. bad cocoons, is provided just above the air nozzle 8, and pressing tools 11 and 12 for aligning cocoons, etc. are respectively provided at positions just above the steps just before and after the air nozzle 8.
