PURPOSE: To easily and efficiently perform a task for inserting articles such as boxes as packaging cases made of polystyrene foam into a vinyl bag or the like while they are neatly stacked.

CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for inserting articles into a bag comprises a mounting table 1 for neatly stacking an appropriate number of articles, a guide plate 6 for determining a side of the articles stacked on the table, a pusher 7 for pushing out the stacked body of the articles toward a receiving table 2, a bag locking member 3 located in a direction of the pusher advancing having a height approximately same as that of the mounting table and a claw member 4 positioned above the bag locking member for locking a mouth of a bag B in conjunction with the locking member, wherein the stacked body of the articles is pushed out by the pusher 7 and inserted into a bag.
