Abstract:
To provide a method and an apparatus for an improved wire side stitch.
At least one of wire side stitch machines 50 and 60 for binding a book by piercing through the side part of the book 30, a cover station 100 for providing a cover on the back of the book and clamping devices 66 are provided and this clamping device 66 has clamps for clamping the book 30 on at least one of the wire side stitch machines 50 and 60 and carrying the book from at least one of the wire side stitch machines 50 and 60 to the cover station 100.
