Abstract:
PURPOSE: To mechanically and simultaneously set plural jewels to the flat surface of a jewel setting base by accurately fixing the base at a prescribed position to a setting base receiver positioned at the bottom of a tray-like component. CONSTITUTION: The tray-like component 3 whose upper part is opened is placed on the lower plate 1b of a press or a horizontal base and used. A tray cover 4 fitted to the component 3 with an extremely small clearance and centered in it is provided with means 17 and 18 for fixing an instrument 5 on the lower surface. Also, in the setting base receiver 6 positioned to the bottom of the component 3 by a positioning clamp 10, the means for accurately fixing the jewel setting base 7 to the receiver 6 at the prescribed position is provided and the flat surface to set the jewels is horizontally turned upwards and is freely brought closer. Further, in order to push in the jewels and set pawls, the instrument 5 is fixed under the cover 4.
