PURPOSE: To provide a general type apparatus for producing a corrugated pipe of a thermoplastic resin constituted so that auxiliary mold segment halves can be inserted in and removed from a molding route under a low structural condition.

CONSTITUTION: A wedge element 18 is displaceable in parallel to a manufacturing direction 16 by a displacing drive device 72 and a grasping device 77 displaceable in the direction reverse to the direction 16 by a supply/removing drive device 75 is provided. By this constitution, auxiliary mold segment halves 4a, 5a are movable to the downstream end of a molding route 2 at once and are removed from the molding route in the manufacturing direction 16 to move to a parking position and a connection member is movable to two positions at the downstream end of the molding route by a drive device. The distance between these positions in the manufacturing direction 16 corresponds to the length of the mold segment halves 4a, 5a in the manufacturing direction 16.
