Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform assembly without changing control of robot movement itself even if there is a change in an assembling position by attaching a stopper means for regulating movement of a working shaft to it so that the position can be adjusted and providing a flat part for engaging the stopper means with an object to be assembled with a work.

CONSTITUTION: An end effector 11 is moved above an assembly hole 20a of an object 20 to be inserted. Then a working shaft 8 is moved toward the assembly hole 20a. At this time a stopper bolt 14 which is set at a specific position in advance by a nut 14a is engaged with a flat part 20b on the upper face of the object 20 to be inserted. This state is sensed by a neighbor switch 15, a claw 12 holding a work 13 is opened by the signal and the work 13 drops into the assembly hole 20a by its own weight. Then the working shaft 8 retreats.
