To provide an apparatus for surface embellishment of small personal ornaments which enables smooth and neat surface embellishment of the small personal ornaments, such as a false nail chip, along curved shapes of the surfaces thereof, though it can be executed in a relatively simple manner with a flat sheetlike seal used.

The apparatus is equipped with a part 12 holding the small personal ornament, a heating device 13 for softening an embellishing sheet 3 of a thermoplastic material for embellishing the surface of the ornament and a pressing member 14 which presses the sheet 3 on almost the whole surface of the ornament in the sphere of embellishment, while the sheet is heated by the heating device 13.
