To provide an applicator which is improved in the sealing property at an ejection port, to thereby prevent coating film from being dried and hardened.
According to the structure of a ball-point pen tip, a ball holder which rotatably holds a ball serving as an application member in a manner protruding part of the ball therefrom, is arranged at the tip thereof, and a coating liquid channel is formed in the ball holder from a ball holding chamber to a ball holder rear end, which channel has a ball receiving seat arranged at some midpoint thereof, for inhibiting the ball from receding. Then a coating liquid channel consisting of a central hole arranged at the center of the ball receiving seat and radial grooves communicating with the central hole but not communicating with an inner hole reamed portion at the rear of the ball receiving seat, is formed, and a resilient member for pressing the ball with its tip portion toward a distal end to press the ball onto an inner wall of a holder front end, is arranged in the holder. According to the ball-point pen tip thus formed, the resilient member is set so as to press the ball with a load of 105 to 250 g.
