Abstract:

To provide a method for quantitatively and qualitatively analyzing an aromatic component of an object in a comparatively short period of time, and to manufacture perfume of the object by use of the method.

Fragrance substance of the object is smelled, and is analyzed by gas chromatography (GC) to qualitatively analyze the volatile component in the fragrance substance. A flavor dilution (FD) factor (Fn) of each the volatile component is calculated by aroma extract dilution analysis, and is multiplied by a characteristic threshold value (Tn) of each the volatile component to find an FD value (Fn×Tn) of each the volatile component. Based on the FD value (Fn×Tn), the perfume of the object is manufactured.
