PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article attachment structure which can attach an attachment article at an arbitrary position to either a vertical rod or a horizontal rod and can attach the attachment article with a common attachment member.SOLUTION: In the article attachment structure, an attachment article 20 is attached to a support pillar 3 including a vertical rod and a horizontal rod 9. An engagement groove 10 (11) in a dovetail groove shape is formed in the vertical rod and horizontal rod 9 in a longitudinal direction. On the attachment article 20, a right/left pair of engagement claws are arranged on an attached face attached on the engagement groove 10 (11), the engagement claws separated from each other in a length being generally the same as a width of the attached face of the vertical rod, and an insertion hole is bored between the pair of engagement claws. The horizontal rod 9 enables the attachment article to be attached thereto by engagement of the engagement claws with the engagement groove. The vertical rod enables the attachment article 20 to be attached thereto by screwing an attachment screw in a screw seat arranged in the engagement groove through the insertion hole in a state in which both sides of the attached face are held by the pair of engagement claws of the attachment article.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
