PURPOSE: To provide an article warehousing/delivery method to warehouse the same kind of articles so that a first in and first out system can be carried out easily as well as to deliver articles in order from the article which is warehoused first.

CONSTITUTION: In the case when no preset article is stored in an automatic warehouse 10, or in the case when the same kind of article as those to be warehoused are stored only in No.1 rack 11, the article are warehoused preferentially in the No.1 rack 11, and in the case when the same kind of articles as those to be warehoused are also stored in No.2 and No.3 racks 12 and 13, the articles are determined to be warehoused in the common storage unit of the No.1 rack or in the No.2 and 3 racks 12 and 13.
