Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve combined weighing accuracy of a weighing instrument for weighing sticky or adherent articles in a combined manner, by providing a feeder for throwing the articles into one or more weighing hoppers within a planned time so that the total weight of the articles may fall within a previously fixed tolerance.
SOLUTION: While cups 20 are being conveyed, articles 21 to be weighed having stickiness or adherence such as cut vegetables, salted vegetables, salmon roes, are thrown (put) into each cup 20 by an article supplying device 1, the weight of each article 21 is weighed by a first weigher 62, the cups 20 containing articles 21 selected for combination from among the weighed articles 21 are conveyed to a fixed discharge position, the articles are discharged from the cups 20, and thereby combined weighing of the articles is conducted so that the total weight may fall within a fixed weight range. Weighing is repeated by the article supplying device 1 throwing new articles 21 into emptied cups 20. The cups 20 are formed to have the same weight.
