Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain both cocoon layer ratio effect equal to that of silkworm raised with mulberry leaves and an artificial feed for silkworms at a low cost, by using blood powder as a protein source.
CONSTITUTION: Blood powder for fertilizers, obtained by treating, e.g. blood of a livestock collected from a slaughter house, having normally about 1W2mm power diameter and consisting of odorless and black powder is used as a protein source for an artificial feed for silkworm and blended in an amount of normally 5W40%, preferably about 24W26%.
