Abstract:
To provide an asbestos-containing material treatment furnace and an asbestos-containing material treatment system in which energy necessary for heat treatment is comparatively small, and which can suppress generation of harmful secondary products.
This asbestos-containing material treatment furnace 3 comprises a tubular body 30 rotatable around a shaft and allowing a treated object including calcium and asbestos to axially flow therein, and a microwave irradiating portion 34 for irradiating the treated object O with microwaves. By irradiating the treatment object O with the microwave, the heat treatment can be performed on the treated object O not only from its outer face but also from the inside.
