Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the weight, loose specific gravity and rigid specific gravity of ash discharged from an ash sampling equipment by sampling ash from a flow route where accumulated ash is discharged by the batch of sampling unit, at a unit time without interrupting the flow of ash by means of extremely simplified structure, and to obtain necessary and efficient data for utilization of ash.
SOLUTION: An ash 12 of constant density which is transported by air is extracted partly together with a transfer fluid, and its weight and specific gravity are measured under atmospheric pressure in which the apparatus needs no rigidity. In addition, the flow rate of ash per time which is changed with time elapse due to conditions, etc., of accumulation place, is automatically calculated by not the usual extracting method which generates possibly abrasion or clogging but at least the result of weight measurement by air transportation and data with time elapse of differential pressure between upstream and downstream sides of a vertical piping 1.
