Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment-type wood cracker which is easily operated and is strong enough to break hard logs simply.
SOLUTION: The basal parts of a pair of front and rear arc-shaped cracking pawls 3, 4 are rotatably supported at the tip of a link working arm 1 via a hydraulic mechanism of a backhoe, the tips 5, 6 of the paws 3, 4 facing each other in a malocclusion state. Front and rear link rotatably supporting parts 7, 8 are installed respectively at the back of the cracking paws 5, 6 and a rear rotatably supporting part 9 and a front pivoting part 12 are installed respectively at the working arm 1 backward the rear cracking paw 4 and the front cracking paw 3, and the one sides 11a, 14a of respective link shafts having joints 10, 13 in their midways are pivoted each at the part 9 and the part 12, the other sides are done each at the part 8 and the part 7. A sequential shaft 16 is pivoted by installing a sequential pivoting part 15 between a basal pivoting part 2 of the paw 3 and the part 7, the end part of the shaft 16 is pivoted by the joint 10 of the link shaft of the paw 4, and the joint 13 of the link shaft of the paw 3 is done at a hydraulic shaft 17.
