Title:
AUGER TYPE ICE MAKING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006349282
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To variably control the ice-making performance of an auger type ice making machine even in areas where the ice-making performance is low.

The auger type ice making machine causes the refrigerant delivered from a compressor 11 to be supplied via a drier 13 and a constant-pressure expansion valve 14 to an evaporator 15 wound around a refrigerating cylinder 21. Water is supplied into the refrigerating cylinder 21 to produce ice. The ice in the refrigerating cylinder 21 is scraped off by an ice-scraping auger 23 driven by an auger motor 25. The refrigerant temperatures at the exit position and the intermediate position of the evaporator 15 are detected respectively by temperature sensors 41a, 41b and the degrees of overheating at the exit position and the intermediate position of the evaporator 15 are calculated from the refrigerant temperatures. The addition of the degrees of overheating is calculated and the rotating speed of an electric motor 16 is controlled so that the current ice-making performance matching the addition of the degrees of overheating equals the desired ice-making performance that is determined according to an ambient temperature detected by an ambient temperature sensor 42.
