Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make a user recognize the cause of being unable to lock in by completing the ejection of a disk in disregard of a reloading command by the user during the ejection of the disk in the case that focusing of the disk is not effected.
CONSTITUTION: A command to commence a focusing action is generated to a focusing servo circuit 28 by CPU 20, and simultaneously a timer built in CPU 20 is started. Then, it is discriminated whether the focusing servo is locked in or not, and the timer is cleared in the case that the servo is locked in. In the case where the servo is judged as not being locked in, it is discriminated whether a fixed time has elapsed or not; and if it has elapsed, a command for ejection is generated to a loading motor 7 through a motor driving circuit 30. In other words, a disk is ejected after a fixed time is elapsed in the case that focusing is not effected for such reason as the disk is inserted upside down.
