Abstract:
PURPOSE: To allow system operation regardless of pass/fail in the reading of sample ID, which becomes the key to transfer/sharing of information, in a system where biochemical analyzers for blood or urine, a host computer, and a LAN are interconnected.
CONSTITUTION: When an ID reader 11 fails to read out a sample ID put on a sample container 2, a computer 12 makes an automatic switching to a system employing a sample ID inputted on a keyboard 13 thus continuing communication with a host computer 14 or a LAN.
