Abstract:
PURPOSE: To suppress the cost an automatic bobbin thread supplying device, simplify the assembly operation and works of wiring, piping, etc., enhance the easiness in maintenance work, and concentrate the wirings, pipings, etc., around the device for impreving the space efficiency by preventing a residue thread removing device and a bobbin thread winding device from interfering with a sewing machine table or oil pan when the head of sewing machine is raised upright without requiring smaller construction of the component parts.
CONSTITUTION: A residue thread removing device D and a bobbin thread winding device C are installed in the position confronting the rotating locus of a bobbin case grasping means within the range V under the shaft 4 of a rotating means 70 rotating together with the bobbin case grasping means and also within the range W nearer a rotational fulcrum 103 than an upright plane along the axis when the bed 101 of sewing machine is to be raised, and a residue thread removing device 161 and a bobbin thread winding device 162 are arranged so that they go inward apart from the rotational locus at the periphery when the head is raised and that the devices approach each other.
