Abstract:
PURPOSE: To create a comfortable environment and, in addition, to reduce the economical loss of a split type air conditioner, by discriminating the relative humidity in a room on the basis of detected outdoor temperatures, and appropriately operating the air conditioner for dehumidifying in accordance with the relative humidity.
CONSTITUTION: The values detected by means of an indoor temperature detecting sensor 2, an indoor heat-exchanger temperature detecting section 5, and a humidity sensor 4 are inputted to a microcomputer 1. In addition, the outdoor temperature is detected at prescribed time intervals by means of an outdoor temperature sensor 3 and stored in the memory of the microcomputer 1. In addition, weather discrimination is performed based on the number of outdoor temperature storing times in the memory. Based on the discriminated weather, the humidity is discriminated and a split type air conditioner is operated for dehumdifying. After the dehumidifying operation, an indoor heat exchanger freezing preventing routine is executed. Therefore, a comfortable environment can be created and the economic loss of the air condition can be reduced by preventing the freezing of the indoor heat exchanger of the air conditioner.
