PURPOSE: To provide a device which automatically transfers tiles conveyed by a conveyor to a pallet truck through a compact device.
CONSTITUTION: A carriage line for a carriage conveyor 4 to carry press-molded clay tiles is arranged approximately in parallel to the running line of a pellet truck 5 to convey clay tiles. A trolley having suckers each sucking the clay tile running in a direction crossing the two lines approximately at right angles is located between the transfer line of the carriage conveyor 4 and the running line of the pallet truck 5. The clay tiles carried on the carriage conveyor 4 by the trolley are taken out one by one from the pallet truck 5 by means of a pallet lifter 8 and placed on an empty pallet. A solid pallet on which the clay piles 12 are loaded is loaded on the pallet truck 5 again.
