To provide an automatic vehicle setting device for setting a vehicle based on the vehicle setting information by obtaining the vehicle setting information for setting the vehicle to a predetermined condition, and to provide an automatic vehicle setting method capable of automatically setting the vehicle in response to a driver.
This automatic vehicle setting device 1 has a memory section 10 for storing registered authentication information, registration discriminating information and vehicle setting information associated with each of the registration discriminating information, a communication section 11 for obtaining the predetermined information by communicating with a personal digital assistant 2, an information obtaining section 121 for obtaining the certifying information and the personal digital assistant discriminating information from the predetermined information, a verification section 122 for determining whether the authentication is right or wrong on the basis of verification of the registered authentication information to the authentication information, and a vehicle setting section 123 for obtaining the vehicle setting information associated with the registration discriminating information corresponding to the discriminating information from the memory section 10 in the case wherein the verification section 122 determines that the authentication is right and for transmitting the obtained vehicle setting information to a control unit of the vehicle.
