CONSTITUTION: A column assembly 20 provided with plural columns 22 for storing cans C in the vertical direction is horizontally arranged in the body 12 of the automatic vending machine 10, commodity charging ports 24 are formed on the front faces of respective columns 22, commodity carry-out ports 26 are formed on one-side faces of respective columns 22, commodity carrying- out devices 32 to be driven by a vending command signal are arranged in respective carry-out ports 26, a commodity drop route 52 for dropping a can C carried out from each port 26 is formed on one side face of the column assembly 20, and a commodity carrier 58 for carrying the can C is formed from the lower part of the route 52 up to a commodity take-out port 62 formed on the front face of the machine 10.
