To control the feeding speed of a warp in a Tatami facing loom.
This automatic feeding apparatus is provided with (1) a spool diameter controlling mechanism and (2) a product thickness controlling mechanism and controls the feeding speed of a warp according to the spool diameter of the warp 1 and the thickness of the product in the weaving of a Tatami facing with a Tatami facing loom. The spool diameter controlling mechanism is composed of a pressure-sensitive arm 6 swinging according to the wound diameter of the warp on a beam 2, a speed varying cam 11 rotating in a state linearly interlocked with the pressure-sensitive arm 6, a follower gear 14 slidably contacting with the speed varying cam 11 and rotating in a state non-linearly interlocked with the cam and an inverter rheostat 7 rotating in a state linearly interlocked with the follower gear 14. The product thickness controlling mechanism is composed of a pulse disk rotating in a state interlocked with the product delivery apparatus of the Tatami facing loom, a pulse sensor detecting the passage of the slit of the pulse disk, a counting sensor to accumulate the number of wefts from the number of revolution of the main shaft of the Tatami facing loom and a controlling part to compare the preset value of the number of wefts corresponding to the pulse spacing and the measured value of the counting sensor and control the inverter motor 7 according to the difference.
