Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding type automobile exhaust pipe connection jig capable of being used for a rhombic shaped flange part different in profile.
SOLUTION: Let a slide arm 11 be slidably guided along a base part 10, and concurrently, a flange pressurizing part 12 having a pressurizing surface 12a perpendicularly intersected with the sliding direction so as to abut against one side of an edge part to which resepctive flanges are faced, is provided for the tip end part of a slide arm 11. Paired upper and lower flange holding parts 15 are provided for the base part 10, which are parted in parallel while a space part 15b is held in between, and are faced to the pressurizing surface 12a at equal distances from the aforesaid surface wherein the other side of the edge part is being inserted. Each holding area in a circular arc shape in cross section is formed in the flange holding parts 15, and a spring 18 energizing the slide arm 11 so as to allow the pressurizing surface 12a to be directed to the flange holding parts 15, is mounted to the base part 10.
