Abstract:
To provide structure and control techniques capable of reducing a sense of distance relative to a robot.SOLUTION: A robot 100 includes: a body 104; wheels 102, 103 including a contact area in movement; and a wheel drive mechanism 370 for performing advance/retreat drive of the wheels from a storage space provided in the body 104 to the outside. The wheel drive mechanism 370 allows the wheels to retract to the storage space in a non-contact state when storage conditions are satisfied. The body 104 includes a contact bottom face that are brought into contact when the wheels are stored in the storage space in the non-contact state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
