To provide an autotransformer with a phase adjuster, capable of adjusting a phase angle over a wider adjustment range.SOLUTION: An autotransformer with a phase adjuster of an embodiment has a serial winding, a shunt winding, a phase adjustment tap winding, and an excitation winding. The serial winding receives application of AC having first voltage at a first terminal to convert the AC having first voltage to AC having second voltage lower than the first voltage. The shunt winding includes a first terminal connected to the side of a second terminal of the serial winding and mutually connected second terminals of respective phases of the shunt winding. The phase adjustment tap winding includes a first terminal to which the AC having the second voltage is input and a second terminal connected to the second terminal of the serial winding to adjust a phase of at least one of the AC having the first voltage and the AC having the second voltage. The excitation winding excites the phase adjustment tap winding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
