Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve starting performance on a slippery road surface by changing load distribution between a driving wheel and a driven wheel, and release increase of axle load of the driving wheel in ordinary traveling.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of starting running, compressed air is supplied to an air spring 11, and load generated by the air spring 11 is applied to a driven rear rear wheel axle 35 in a lifting direction. Distribution load on a driving rear front axle 34 and the driven rear rear axle 35 is applied to the driving rear front axle 34 to provide driving force for the driving rear front axle 34. After starting running, when a predetermined time elapses, compressed air is discharged, and the air spring 11 is kept at a specified residual pressure by its releaf valve. Distribution load on the driving rear front axle 34 and the driven rear rear axle 35 is thus evened, and axle load increase at the driving rear front axle 34 is released, thereby ordinary running is enabled.
