PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microbial growth preventing purified water production apparatus having a simple structure and capable of preventing microbial growth.SOLUTION: A microbial growth preventing purified water production apparatus comprises: a pretreatment device 2 for removing residual chlorine contained in raw water; a sterilizer 3 for sterilizing microorganisms contained in pretreated water by the pretreatment device; a water storage tank 4 that stores sterilized water by the sterilizer; a pump 5 for supplying the sterilized water stored in the water storage tank; a first ion removal device 6 for separating the sterilized water supplied by the pump into an ion component-removed first permeate and a first concentrate; a second ion removal device 7 for separating the first permeate of the first ion removal device into purified water consisting of an ion component-removed second permeate and a second concentrate; and a first return line 16 for joining a part or all of the first concentrate to the pretreated water flowing into the sterilizer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
