Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily control weld strength for welding of a protector of a bag for medical use, by a method in which a bag-shaped main body is formed by pressing and welding by use of a set of upper and lower molds for a bag opening, or a mold for a bag opening comprising front and rear molds having pressure grooves, followed by pressing using a set of upper and lower flask molds.
CONSTITUTION: For producing a bag 1 for medical use which comprises a bag- shaped main body 2, liquid ports 3 each having a base 5 fixed to an upper portion of the bag-shaped main body 2 and protectors 4 for covering the liquid ports 3, the base 5 having projections 12, the liquid ports 3 are placed between two synthetic resin sheets 6, and the middle portions of the respective liquid ports 3 are pressed against and welded to the sheets 6 by means of upper and lower seal molds. Subsequently, the sheets 6 are pressed against and welded to each other by means of molds 8, 8 for a bag opening, each of which comprises an electrode 8a having pressure grooves 15 formed along the lengthwise direction of the base 5 and the liquid port 3 and an insulator 8b having grooves 9 formed along the lateral direction relative to the pressure grooves 15 (or mold for a bag opening which comprises front and rear molds), to thereby obtain a desired bag for medical use.
