PURPOSE: To improve using convenience, by setting the capacities of containing section variably, and to prevent an accident of theft or the like of baggages from occurring by moving a parting plate with a parting plate engaging means, only when all the doors of the containing sections separated with the parting plate are opened together.
CONSTITUTION: A base body 5 is provided with a box body 3 having a plurality of containing sections 2A, 2B separated from each other by a parting plate 6 and communicated with each other by the movement of the parting plate 6, and doors for opening or closing the respective containing sections fitted on the box body 3 and the containing sections 2A, 2B. Besides, baggage sensors S1 for detecting the containing of baggages into the containing sections are arranged on the respective containing sections, and locks K for locking the doors when the baggages are detected by the sensors S1 are arranged on the respective containing sections. Then, a parting plate engaging means 15 consists of an engaging section 16 set on the parting plate 6, and engaging sections 17 arranged on the respective doors and engaged with the engaging section 16 by closing the respective doors, for suppressing the movement of the parting plate 6 and releasing the engagement by releasing the respective doors.
