PURPOSE: To provide a ball-screw type movable table which rotates a ball-screw shaft by means of a driving part set up on a base, and traveling this table, equipped with a ball-screw nut engaging with this ball-screw shaft, at a high sped on the base.

CONSTITUTION: In a ball-screw type movable table consisting of a specified length base 1, a ball-screw shaft 2 set up in the longitudinal direction of this base 1 via two bearings 10 and 11, and a table 3 being equipped with a ball- screw nut 25 engaging with this ball-screw shaft 2 and traveling along an axial center of this shaft 2, a driving part rotating the ball-screw shaft 2 is locked to the base 1, and this driving part is separated from the table 3 traveling by receiving this driving force, whereby any load to be produced in this table 3 is extremely lessened and the table 3 is traveled at a high speed on the base 1.
